We have an exciting update!
Since July 2025, a committee has been working to bring an inclusive playground to Hidden Diamonds Park in Albion. The community shared overwhelming support through encouraging comments and tons of social media shares. Since then, the committee has continued working diligently and, in December 2025, the Albion Town Council gave their consent to begin fundraising to make this project a reality. Furthermore, Albion's Redevelopment Commission (RDC) committed $250,000 toward the project.
The Diamond Discovery Zone committee will continue fundraising efforts in the coming months, apply for various grants, and meet with non-profit groups in the community. They would love to share the project's vision and goals with other community members and groups as well.
If you would like to learn more or entertain a visit from committee member(s), please email Casey Myers at albionparkdept@frontier.com or call (260) 564-1976.
The project committee has partnered with the Community Foundation of Noble County to manage funds for the purpose of development of the inclusive playground. Donations are tax deductible and may be made securely online (https://go.cfnoble.org/diamond), by scanning the QR code below, or by mailing a check.
More information and updates will be shared as the project progresses.
